All gone by so soon ...

It was like really late in the night.. wonder why I was sitting there.. I was sleepy but then I did not want to ... had loads of thoughts running in my mind.. like always .. my profession , my friends, my family .. the face of it all today, and what it will be tomorrow ! Right time for these thoughts... it was all quite outside.. everyone around was asleep .. no distraction around to break the chain of thought....some time to contemplate and chew on stuff thats just passed by in a jiff !

Its tough coming to terms with life these days.. not that its going overboard .. its quite manageable.... but things are moving just too fast.. you have the same 24 hrs.. but more chores to do, greater expectations to meet and higher mountains to climb !So it works out that u work smart, quick, intelligent, use all possible shortcuts.. but fit in just about everything !!!!
Its only when u get some time off and u comtemplate , that u realize what good/bad has gone by .. and how little did u actually live that moment.. and how you wished that you could have lived it longer..

The worst part is ... that now you can just think and maybe smile/shed a tear, but the actual moment has been left way behind !

Another beautiful ghazal from the ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh .... and isnt this ghazal very true.. any answers to the questions below?

Marriage ! Aah !!

This 8-letter word surely gets lots of thoughts rolling in ur head immediately.. thoughts of happiness, excitement, fear, commitment, compromise.. and the list goes on...
But this 'thought chaos' is justified.. afterall its once a liftime thing.. and who wouldnt want the best !
I was reading up some success mantras of life... and came across this..

90% of ur rest of ur life.. and its just that one person who can make all the difference !! (I almost gulped down four times with the thought!!)
well the above excerpt does list out the right qualities...seems like u cannot compromise on any of them.. or maybe u can.. So whats that which will work success..???
To keep it simple and short... marry a person who you enjoy talking with.. with old age that is all that will matter .. everything else is a pass by.. !
